The Corvid family of birds are known to have the highest intelligence of all non-human life with the ability to replicate human speech and use human phrases appropriately. They have an extensive vocabulary, assist each other, have a complex social order, mate for life, and have been observed to destroy unfaithful mates. In this novel they observe and comment as the story unfolds. Audra is highly left brain dominant, the side of the brain that is analytical, and can grasp philosophical concepts such as Platonic Love. Zane is equally highly right brain dominant, the side of the brain that is intuitive, learns by practice, and sees things in black and white. Can their marriage survive.
