This is a college textbook, but it works for all ages. It is a workbook to practice reading and writing the Arabic Alphabet. It caters to the specific needs of English speakers. With the meticulous transliteration, students begin to read Arabic from the first day of class. 800+ cognates are used in this book. The vowels, consonants, and nine Arabic symbols are dissected. The rules that govern the structure of the Arabic letters are discovered. No other methodology has 40+ original learning features in one program. Each letter is dissected and explained. This is a class-tested approach, for all ages, and it works with or without a teacher. What's more is that the author Camilia Sadik is a linguist. She is a native-Arabic speaker, and she spent five long years dissecting the Arabic Alphabet. Sadik spent an additional 15 years dissecting and discovering 100+ English spelling rules. Currently, Sadik teaches both Arabic and English at two different colleges in San Diego, California.
