It's a story of nature versus nurture played out in a teen's world of pop culture references, snarky humor, and half-understood sexual banter. While this book's language and topics (coming of age, friendship, death, abusive relationships, sex) are not out of place in a Young Adult genre book, the book is recommended for mature readers only.
