The present work is a study of "Postnatal Health Care among Urban Women: A Sociological Inquiry". The study has been carried out in Meerut District of Western Uttar Pradesh, India. The study has been divided into six chapters. The fourth chapter takes account of the Information about postnatal care period of the respondents based on the empirical work done in the research area. The fifth chapter deals with the Support/ Attitude of family members of the respondents during postnatal care period based on the empirical work done in the research area. The sixth chapter includes the summary and conclusion of the present study.
