His reluctance to set a wedding date fueled her insecurities about their relationship. Leah Goldstein grew up with affluence, the only child of wealthy Jewish parents. Wild and rebellious in high school, her life spiraled out of control when she had an abortion. Desperate to find peace - wanting to change her life, she went with a friend to church service that offered her what her heart was longing for.
