Reseña del libro "How To Know Your Purpose and Call: Find Your Purpose & Live a Life of Victory (en Inglés)"

We constantly wonder why one Christian is more victorious in their everyday assignments and life than ourselves and the Christian next door. We ponder as to why the favour and blessing of God flows towards them constantly compared to ourselves and the others. We wonder why not all Christians are equally blessed, why some face strife, failure, poverty, lack, and similar misfortunes. Not because this would never occur to anyone, but we wonder why some do not seem to come out of them. Whereas, the Lord Jesus taught and promised us sufferings, trials, and tests, (see John 16:33; Mark 10:30) we realize that these types are not the ones promised as they do not build up our Christian witness. We ponder this and often fail to get the right answer. We often propose several explanations and conclusions. When we take a keen look, we conclude that we are less blessed despite our commitment to our Christian life and walk. A casual spectator often notices that despite our sincere commitment to our Christian lives, we do not have it all together. What could be the problem? Are we not all children of the same God, as the scriptures say, "He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous?" (Matthew 5:45). Further, the Holy Scripture teaches us that the Lord delights in our well-being. As captured in the book of Psalms; He is "The LORD, who delights in the well-being of his servant" (Psalm 35:27) and promised to bless all the works of our hands (see Deuteronomy 28:8,12). This helps us understand that the problem lies not with God. God is not at fault. God loves us His children dearly and everything is calm and peaceful in heaven. We are not able to receive despite God's abundance all around us, and despite His love, grace, mercy and might. We are not able to receive despite His guaranteed promises, agreement and covenant signed in blood. Something is definitely blocking us from receiving what God is more than willing to give us, and has already provided 2,000 years ago. What could be the problem? It is like having your money in the bank account and not being able for some reason to cash it out. This question is easily answered when we honestly ask and answer the question, "What did God create me to do on earth, what did God send me to do on earth, why am I here on earth, and am I doing it?" We learn a very important truth in the book of Psalms. Psalm 139:13-18, declares that God created each one of us for a specific purpose on earth. He weaved us carefully, fearfully, wonderfully, and knew and determined ahead of time, all the days of our lives on earth. This was not for fun, but to help us live a fulfilled and victorious life.
