Eventually, the distance between you and that person will become smaller and smaller as you get closer and closer together. That supposed person is your soulmate, a fixed destiny waiting for you at the other end. Movies, books, and shows make you believe that finding true love and a happily ever after is real. We cling to this because it gives us a sense of hope that we are capable of love and finding that person; a person we could happily spend the rest of our life with. But, what happens after?
