The story of Joseph in Egypt is well know and fully explained in the of Genesis in the Bible. Most writings take him from his relationship with his brothers and how they sold him into slavery in Egypt. We know of Potiphar's Wife and her attempts to seduce him and his refusal, his being put in prison, then later how he was elevated to the ruler of all Egypt under Pharaoh. This book takes it from there and tries to explain how his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim, lived and their own descendants down to the time of the Exodus. It includes a full discussion of Akhenaten, the so-called "Heretic Pharaoh" and shows how we was actually a righteous Hebrew king.
