Neurosurgeon Carlos Frank is shocked when he receives a letter from his grandfather's estate. When Eric emigrated from Germany, he arrived in Mexico with no Spanish and little money. He built a life for himself from the ground up-until he abruptly abandoned his family to build a castle in Snowflakes, Arizona. It therefore comes as a complete surprise when the letter names Carlos as Eric's heir and rightful owner of Frank Castle, which the old man built after a series of peyote-fueled visions. Carlos; his girlfriend, Jackie; and their friend Jimmy set out to explore the beautiful and enigmatic fortress. They are enchanted by the wonders of Frank Castle. Then Jackie finds the brains. She is dumbfounded to discover a secret compartment in the castle that contains twenty human brains floating in jars. In the adventure that follows, Carlos and his friends go up against a corrupt sheriff, find more secrets buried in Snowflakes, and try to create life itself!
