Dentists are likely to encounter lesions that have both Endodontic and Periodontal aetiological components; the so called 'Endo-Perio lesions'. The interrelationship between endodontic and periodontal disease has aroused confusion, queries and controversy. Differentiating between endodontic and periodontal problems can be difficult.
