As Christians, we want life to be easy and pretty for us, but often it's the opposite: hard and messy. On July 7, 2007, my husband, David was injured on the job. He fell from the top of a machine, severing the fingers on his left hand when he grabbed the swinging door of the machine to keep from falling off. As the machine tipped, he fell 6 ft. onto a concrete floor, hitting his head, which resulted in a head injury. He also suffered from memory loss, and trauma. Her hobbies include writing, crocheting, reading, scrapbooking, and being with family and friends. Debbie graduated from Sullivan Business College, attended Oakland City College, and earned a degree from The Institute of Children's Literature. She is published in Reminisce Magazine. Debbie and David have been married for over 44 years and they live in Clarksville, Indiana.
