Vander Waals forces present within carbon nanotubes make them prone to agglomeration/re-agglomeration and achieving good dispersion can be challenging due to those forces as well as their high aspect ratio and a high degree of entanglement with other CNTs.The synthesis, properties, and importance of nanotubes to improve the interlaminar strength of the fibrous composite.
